What books do you recommend for boy readers?

  1. Hi Dorothy,

Great list. This old boy (69) has read all the Classics and many of the current ones. I've been reading books for boys since I was about eight and I still love them. SHIPBREAKER is one of my recent favorites.

For another boy's classic check out the Rick Brant series by John Blaine (Harold Goodwin). They are science adventure books and were my favorite growing up. The copyright was lost on some of them and they are free on Amazon. A bit racist and sexist, but better than most of that era.

Thanks for helping boys read. Librarians are my heros.

    Ben
